At aha! Process, we understand that poverty is more than a lack of money: it is a lack of resources. For years we worked with the Lowndes County School District in Mississippi, and during that time, their students have made amazing progress:

  • Over two years, third-grade students saw an increase of 31.5% in “Proficient” or “Advanced” scores in mathematics on the MCT2.
  • Those same students saw an increase of 26.1% in language arts scores.
  • At West Lowndes Middle School, 34.9% of seventh graders scored “Proficient” or “Advanced” in mathematics on the MCT2.
