Addressing the Challenges of Poverty national conference presentation spotlight

Learn about two innovative approaches, one working with youth and one with mothers, that incorporate and expand Getting Ahead to create additional impact. These approaches involve both government and community organizations in unique partnerships, and they integrate systems change components. Both Getting Ahead graduates and staff will present and describe their experiences.

Learning objectives include:

  • Learn about ways to incorporate Getting Ahead in a larger structure or program design to bring additional impact.
  • Review evaluation tools to measure impact along with current outcomes.
  • Consider strategies to connect Getting Ahead graduates to leadership opportunities and systems change processes.
