“We got loud with each other and they let me get everything out, and then we sat down and talked. They’re a part of my life. I think I’d be lost without them,” says Joann Awan about her involvement with Getting Ahead and The Factory Ministries in Pennsylvania.
“We didn’t have no friends when we first moved, and made enemies with the school right off the bat.”
