Description
Participants will hear how Main Street Ministries was challenged to take charge and move forward in a city with 26,000 nonprofits that do not collaborate much. Listening to other smaller communities’ successes in aha! Process webinars about eviction energized Main Street Ministries to want the same for its community. This led to the ministry applying lessons and tools from a Getting Ahead workshop and developing a collaborative model that leverages funding and resources from other organizations.
Learning objectives include:
- How to assess strengths of organizations to build effective partnerships
- How to leverage partnerships to increase numbers served and share costs
