Individuals and organization on Friday received training aimed at more efficiently addressing poverty in the community and developing strategies to help families in need. The Fremont Family Coalition, formerly the Early Childhood Coalition, hosted Bridges out of Poverty at the Fremont Public Schools Main Street Education and Administration Center. More than 100 individuals representing churches, non-profits, businesses, law enforcement and health care attended the session, said Donna Meismer, program director for Community Impact with the Fremont Area United Way.
