Faith communities are charged with aiding people in poverty, but carrying out that mission can be challenging. Alleviating poverty and building sustainable lives starts with knowledge and awareness of the issues faced by people living in poverty.

Explore new ways a faith community can make positive impacts in moving individuals and the community as a whole into economic sustainability. Topics include:

  • Hidden rules of class
  • Family and relationship building
  • Conflict resolution and violence
  • Church participation

Members of the faith community, ministers, and church staff members will all benefit from a deepened understanding of the people they want to serve.
