Community Action Planning Council, Watertown Urban Mission, and the Volunteer Transportation Center teamed up to offer the first Getting Ahead workshop in the North Country. The program was sponsored by the Jefferson Leadership Institute Class of 2017, who coordinated the Race Against Poverty, raising $24,000 in support of Getting Ahead. To help build awareness of this outstanding program, Getting Ahead Class of 2017 graduates shared their stories and insights as part of this video.
