Next week we are hosting our first annual Under-Resourced Learners Summit professional development for teachers in Houston, TX. Many of us are making crucial decisions on our campuses: points of change, budget cuts, and challenges to continue to provide key content with less financial and personnel resources.

By joining us at this two-day summit, we are taking steps together to raise the achievement of your students and strengthen your school. You will leave with strategies and processes that you can embed on your campuses and within your classrooms yet next week. That is powerful!

There are many best practices to be shared—from the mini-sessions during breakfast on the second day, to my thought leader session, to the break-outs. It is all out there for your sharing and learning.  It is a great way to connect with people from all over the United States, share your best practices, and learn from each session you attend. And have some fun! You deserve it.

We look forward to seeing you next week at our Under-Resourced Learners Summit 2009.
