Description

Reentry for justice-involved individuals is supposed to be a transition from incarceration to community return. However, most programs never support the person or the community. Participants will learn the ways programs can effectively help restore individuals and families of the incarcerated to a better life. Support is the key. The restored citizen is never alone in this fight, and neither are the agencies and organizations that work hard to improve the lives of returning citizens.

Learning objectives include:

  • What one element is the critical link to success after release
  • A mindset shift that builds a new culture and future
  • The elements required to meet immediate and future needs of restored citizens
