Miami Valley Community Action Partnership graduates second Getting Ahead group

Check out this video featuring highlights from the second Getting Ahead graduation ceremony held by the Miami Valley Community Action Partnership (CAP) in the Dayton, Ohio, area.

Miami Valley CAP is part of the CAP of the Greater Dayton Area, which was established in 1964. In addition to facilitating Getting Ahead groups, CAP of the Greater Dayton Area offers workforce development, emergency services, utility assistance, and more.

In the video, one Getting Ahead graduate shares: “One of the tools that I used with Getting Ahead is definitely planning backwards. Just seeing where I’m at now in my life, to start looking ahead and planning towards that, and working my way back, that’s definitely one of the best tools.”
