What resources does a person living in the middle class have? And what resources does a person living in generational poverty have? What is the difference between generational and situational poverty?

Understanding generational poverty is not always easy and automatic for the middle class. The concept that brings closer the lives of people living in generational poverty is called Bridges Out of Poverty. Bridges describes the typical characteristics of people living in generational poverty anywhere in the world, regardless of their race.

Bridges helps us to understand the environment of generational poverty more comprehensively, to be aware of specific problems (not only economic ones) we complain about in this environment, to set up activities aimed at solving problems of people in poverty, and to build understanding and respect for people living in poverty.

We offer this training called Bridges Out of Poverty, based on these principles, to people who are starting their journey at Cesta von. One of the training sessions took place at (f)ITcubator in Poprad, Slovakia, where they provided us with free space and met under the Tatras mountain range.
