Books from DeVol and Weirich expand efforts in the business sector

GettingAhead_Workplace_ToPub5.inddConsultants should already have received a copy of Getting Ahead in the Workplace, Phil DeVol’s new version of Getting Ahead for employees. Phil will be running 10 pilot groups with Case Western in Ohio this fall. We have printed only a small number of these books in case it needs altering based on the outcomes of the pilot groups. However, in the meantime, we think it can be used successfully by trained Getting Ahead facilitators.

This book is part of our evolving business sector, which includes this book by Phil for employees and a book for business owners and managers, Workplace Stability by Ruth Weirich, scheduled for release in May 2016. Ruth’s business workshop, previously named Finding Talent, Growing Profits, is being renamed Workplace Stability, and these changes are reflected on the website.

Because of increasing demand and encouragement from our customers who are already applying Bridges to business, we plan to engage them with training early in the new year so we can learn from each other. We hope to have a training supplement (similar to a workbook) available by late January to complement the training.
