Five years ago, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a national Catholic organization providing direct assistance to those in need, embarked on a plan of systemic change rooted in dignity and empowerment. See how this volunteer organization built a Getting Ahead network of 37 sites in 17 states with collaboration and determination, and learn the tools and tactics employed.
