Let’s get to the nitty-gritty on the realities of implementing the R Rules in the classroom. This presentation will discuss the development of an R Rules program from the ground up in a Midwestern high school of 650 students in a high-poverty community. Resources will be shared, and ideas will be plentiful—be ready to leave empowered! There will be examples of how to conduct the class in person, as well as an online format for virtual learners.

- Identify the challenges and solutions to implementing an R Rules program within a public school system.
- Collaborate to develop a network of support.
- Establish a foundation of materials and ideas in which to move forward with implementation of the program.
