Sally’s aha! moment

Sally first met Ruby while teaching Ruby’s son, Tom. It was a special honor to have the privilege of teaching mathematics to such an outstanding student. I am sure Tom recommended me to Ruby. Being fascinated with her work, I was eager to join her team and apply her work to students who struggle in mathematics.

Sally’s passion

I have worked with students who have not passed state-required tests, and I have worked with students seeking advanced placement calculus credit. My lifelong passion is to make mathematics accessible to every student. It may not be their favorite course, but it is certainly a skill that can be mastered by all.

Sally’s best training

Strategies for Improving Math Scoresis certainly one of my favorite workshops. Attendees are amazed to see how the poverty training is tied to their success in mathematics. Math teachers are eager to find ways to teach successfully.

What does Sally do for fun?

Play with grandbabies! As a mother of three children, I have been blessed with two grand-boys who are the delights of my life. When traveling, you will probably find me knitting beanies for babies and adults. I am an avid fan of football and follow the Texas Longhorns and Houston Texans.
