Bridges Out Of Poverty and Dr. Ruby Payne have brought their poverty-fighting program to Australia, and while they’ve made great progress educating people in the east, now the Western Australia province is beginning to catch up. The most recent program in Murandah, Western Australia had over 750 local educators, teaching them about the obstacles of escaping poverty and how to help people plan for the future. “Western Australian schools have used the heart of the theory for about 10 years but now we’re looking at educating community groups and employers as well,” said presenter Nairn Walker.
