Bridges Out Of Poverty Educates Wyoming Employers

About 20 employers from the northern Wyoming town of Sheridan participated in a recent Bridges Out Of Poverty workshop. This one-day workshop focused on how different employers can answer the financial needs and pressures of their employees. Presenters drew the distinction between situational and generational poverty, as well as the hidden rules of etiquette unique to different socioeconomic classes. Regina Lewis, a consultant for Bridges Out Of Poverty and aha! Process, said “There are 10.4 million working poor who are hidden by the rules of their class. You may not know you have these employees. We don’t necessarily know what the working poor looks like.”
