Attending the Addressing the Challenges of Poverty conference the past two years really helped to get our anti-poverty initiative off the ground. We learned so much from different presenters who shared what worked, what didn’t, and exactly what the experience was like for their communities. Members of our steering group attended as well, and we all came away with firsthand knowledge from others who were further along in their community efforts. I highly recommend this conference for anyone who wants to hear from those who are working on reducing poverty in their community.
