Have you heard about the big event happening October 1-2 in Indianapolis?
Well, you are invited!
This event is unique in that it brings teachers and administrators from K-12, college faculty and staff, as well as people from businesses, social services, individuals, churches, health care providers, and more together to solve the issues we are all facing because of poverty and what it does to people and communities.
The conference will offer more than 60 breakout sessions from practitioners and aha!’s national consultants. We will begin Sunday evening with a social time which will provide you an opportunity to network with individuals across the various sectors. Sessions are also scheduled for networking within the individual sectors. If you want to know how to connect more effectively with your students and help them soar, come join us! If you want to know how to help people get jobs and keep them or how to improve retention and completion, come to Indy!
We created this event because we heard from all sectors of the community that people were working in their own silos and the only way to create true change is to work together. Raising achievement, reducing poverty, improving retention and completion—whatever your issue is, it really is all of our issue. I hope you will join us!
