Surveys Customize Workshops to Meet Your Needs
As a way to help you improve and build stronger programs, we have developed a number of surveys that enable
school leaders to identify needs related to instruction, behavior, and other educational issues your school may be
experiencing. The surveys:
- Give you baseline data by measuring teachers’ perceptions of critical indicators related to student achievement.
- Identify areas of strengths and challenges for use in planning future staff development.
- Increase staff awareness, interest, and “buy-in” for future professional development.
- Increase the effectiveness of subsequent professional development by bringing the concepts to the individual teacher and classroom level.
Survey results allow for customization of workshops and subsequent trainings focused on teacher needs, thus building teacher capacity.
In addition, we offer a Student Engagement Survey that measures students’ perceptions of the practices, culture, and relationships in the building.
These results can be used to target needs identified by the key stakeholders, the students themselves.
