Bridges Steering Committee
Bridges Steering Committees are spreading across the world. There are now 26 locations in Canada, Slovakia, and in 12 U.S. states. By definition, a Bridges Steering Committee is made up of individuals from various sectors and organizations within a geographic area that come together with the intention of addressing poverty in their community with comprehensive, integrated strategies. These people come from all classes, races, sectors, and political persuasions. These groups use the Bridges constructs, strategies, and tools. There are currently 23 additional sites (in nine additional states and Australia) that are developing Bridges Steering Committees, as well.
